W 250 ‘Drink This, All of You’: Individual Cups at Holy Communion (2022)

The COVID-19 pandemic has severely disrupted the Church of England’s normal practice of Holy Communion. In many parishes, the communal cup has been withdrawn for fear of contagion, replaced by communion in one kind (bread only) or communion by intinction (dipping).

This booklet argues that there is a much better solution—the provision of individual cups—which enables the inclusion of every Christian in eating and drinking at Holy Communion, as Jesus commands.
