W 143 Liturgy and Spiritual Formation (1997)

How does coming to church on Sunday help to form the spiritual life of a person? Formation is the process of learning, changing, and growing into Christian maturity and the likeness of Christ, which will result from growing in understanding, and experience of encounter with God, and deepening of relationship with him.

This booklet explores this concept of spiritual development and growth and looks at how it links to the corporate life of the Church and its worship and liturgy.
