I think I may have a vocation. How does one respond to such a claim? What processes of discernment are involved in facing a life-changing decision and commitment‚ for oneself or for an enquirer seeking to test a sense of call?

These and many other questions are considered in this study. Ultimately it is the universal vocation to be that lies at the heart of all other callings. How then can we live so fully that we are on the way to becoming the person God intends us to be?

After years of teaching, Margaret Magdalen entered the Anglican Community of St Mary the Virgin taking life vows in 1978. She has served in many of the Community's houses in England, Botswana and South Africa. She has a ministry of retreat-giving, spiritual direction and writing and enjoys swimming, cricket (now only as a spectator) and almost every animal she meets.
