P 91 Surviving Child Sexual Abuse: Supporting Adults in the Church (2007)

£2.77

There is now greater awareness of the issue of sexual abuse both within and outside the church: as many as 1 in 4 of the average congregation may have suffered abuse in some form. But many are still unclear about the best way to respond.

This carefully-researched study looks at how adult survivors might react to their experience, and particularly at how their view of God may have been affected. It offers practical ways in which churches can shape their teaching and worship in order to communicate God's love effectively.
