MEv 118 Mission-shaped Church in a Multicultural World

If current migration trends persist, race is likely to be a central issue in mission this century, as Christianity in the UK becomes increasingly darker in complexion.

This booklet urges Christians everywhere—and especially in the typically white, middle-class Church of England—to engage wholeheartedly with immigrant and missionary believers from the majority world. It suggests that through sharing, worshipping together and forming authentic cross-cultural relationships, British and non-Western Christians might enrich one another and even help the church to rediscover its missional impulses to re-evangelize Britain
