Especially in western Christianity, community has often been a neglected aspect of mission and evangelism. This compelling study offers a means of approaching mission that places community at its heart, enabling local churches to better express their missional calling.
After working in the media, Mark Berry trained and worked as a youth minister. He founded the Safespace missional community in 2005, which has been privileged to serve Telford, particularly among young families, night-time culture and Telford United football club. Mark also works with the Church Mission Society, supporting and developing its community life.

Philip Mounstephen has led the Church Mission Society since 2012. Prior to that he pastored a multilingual church in Paris, worked for the Church Pastoral Aid Society and has many years of church leadership experience in a variety of contexts. He is married to Ruth, collects vinyl albums and (still) supports Newcastle Utd.
