Living well together in society with what can seem like fundamental differences is perhaps the greatest challenge we currently face in Western society. 

The Living Well Together conferences offer a model of exploring difficult questions and differences together, in a context of mutual respect, which can point both school communities and wider society with a vital way forward.

Tom Wilson is currently vicar of two churches in the centre of Gloucester, in one of the most multicultural and diverse parts of the south west of England. He was previously curate in Liverpool, where he conducted fieldwork in an Anglican primary school where more than thirty nationalities were present.
