E 204 Sexual Violence: An Issue for the Church? (2022)

When polled, over two-thirds of women replied that they felt more objectified, harassed and uncomfortable when at church than at work.

This booklet is not written primarily for women—rather, it argues that whatever our gender, we all have a part to play in the creation of communities of healing, justice and hope. With reference to insights from psychology, philosophy and theology, it discusses the nature of the issue and explores how the church can bear witness in a way that reflects the good news of Jesus.
