In contrast to the earlier chapters of Daniel, the visions of Daniel 7–11 have often been a happy hunting ground for all kinds of weird and wonderful interpretations. This clear study shows how a variety of interpretative approaches (looking at the text’s cultural context, its re-use of biblical symbolism and its literary features) shed considerable light on these passages. It shows the theological significance of the visions, and includes suggestions for preaching on them.
