Ev 92 Fresh Expressions of Church: Fishing Nets or Safety Nets? (2010)

Fresh expressions of church were designed to be fishing nets, attracting those beyond the reach of the traditional church. Yet very often they seem to be safety nets, reassuring those on the inside that they are doing something useful.

This study explores both writing about fresh expressions (positive and negative) as well as research on the ground to see which is true, and offer a reassessment of the value of fresh expressions. It will be vital reading for all ministering or interested in the significance of fresh expressions.
