Holy Communion is, arguably, the central service of the Christian life. If this is so, then it is odd that we don’t celebrate Holy Communion in the context of church schools.
Some of the reasons for this are theological, relating to issues of Christian discipleship. But many of the objections are practical. This detailed study looks at each of these issues, explores how they might be resolved, and offers practical examples of how to make the service work well in a school context.
