B 97 Christlike Conflict Resolution in Philippians (2020)

£2.77

Paul’s appeal to Euodia and Syntyche to be reconciled in Phil 4.2–3 might look like something incidental to the main concerns of this letter. But closer inspection reveals that conflict resolution is at the heart of the letter, and is addressed by the example of Jesus in the ‘Christ-hymn’ of chapter 2.

This careful, pastoral reading of Philippians teases out the key elements of Paul’s approach to conflict resolution, and through practical examples shows how we might apply these principles in the church today.
