B 88 Participation: Paul’s Vision of Life in Christ (2018)

How did Paul see the Christian life, and what did he understand as its goal? There is strong evidence from his language of being ‘in Christ’ that he understood it to be participation in Christ.

This stimulating study explores what that means in relation to Christ crucifed and risen, and argues that the resurrection life is actually cross-shaped, expressing the self-emptying love of God in missional actions as a community.
