Despite long discussion in the churches, the question of women's roles in Scripture provokes a wide range of views.

This study seeks to assess the key passages in Scripture that are appealed to by differing views, and explore whether or not they support the idea of hierarchy within gender relations and the prohibition of certain forms of ministry for women.
