Ruth Grayson is an economic historian, with a particular interest in unemployment and homelessness. She co-ordinates CASCaid (Campaign Against the Secularisation of Christmas; www.casc-aid.org.uk), which promotes alternative Christian approaches to Christmas in order to share resources and relieve poverty.
