Julian Stern is Professor of Education and Religion at Bishop Grosseteste University. He was a schoolteacher for fourteen years and has worked in universities for thirty years, mostly in middle leadership, and is widely published on religious education, spirituality, the philosophy of schooling and solitude studies.
