Caryn Reeder is Professor of New Testament at Westmont College in Santa Barbara, California. She is the author of ‘The Enemy in the Household: Family Violence in Deuteronomy and Beyond’ (Baker Academic, 2012) and ‘Gendering War and Peace in the Gospel of Luke’ (Cambridge University Press, 2018).
